If my brother doesn't go for it I will let you know! 8) The only interesting
thing about is it still has a Lackey High School sticker from 78 in the rear
window and he remembers the car.

Well in reality it is only worth what you are willing to pay for it.  I have bought running driving cars for less than a grand.

OK.. a 12 bolt rear  $$ Cowl Hood $$ Bucket
seats $$  console $$ and no rust in the floor or trunk... If that is the
case,, the window channel should be in good condition... So in the greater Rust
belt northeast,, I would say more in the 1000.oo woud be a steal  and more
like $2000.00...

I'm trying to help my brother find a project 70
chevelle. We looked at one today. Its a regular chevelle with a ss cowl hood
,buckets, console, and 12bolt. There is no motor. It pretty much needs the
works however the floors ,trunk and frame are rock solid and rust free. It
will probably need new quarters and fenders for a nice job. What should one of
  these realistically go for?

  Thanks!JD

Depending on how solid it is, how bad the floors are, etc.  750-1000  my guess.

I'd say 1,000 or so, nonmatching #'s, no motor. Sounds like a good project
though, if the price is right.

I'd would not pay more than $1000 honestly.  No engine, trans, or paperwork, it's nothing more than a rolling body.
