It is interesting to see the wide variety of Chevelle owner occupations. For me the past 25 years have been spent as an engineer/physicist working on the "bomb" squad. I am a newbie to this site, about a month ago I purchased a partially restored "69 SS which I am beginning to fully restore when I can find the time. Re: [Chevelle-list] For a living/Chevelle story
The never getting paid sounds familiar Kelly...I sold my Chevelle after college to a friend. I was broke and had no place to park it. Well, he never paid me anything for it. After about 3 years, I finally tracked him down and forced him to give the car back. It had been sitting outside in a field for those 3 yearsevidenced by the mouse droppings everywhere, nests, and a bunch more rust on the car. Needless to say, I was pretty upset about the condition of the car. One less friend in my life and one lesson learned from it all. I was so upset that the car sat for 2 more years until I decided I needed to restore it. Partly out of spite, but mostly because it was always my dream to restore it and I finally had the means to do it. I would love to run into him with the Chevelle all finished. Just to see his face and so he can see what he missed out on. Hindsight, I feel like I got a second chance with the car and now I would never give it up. Be sure to carefully unpack the kit and place each component in its accompanying mesh safety bag. Once the red light is off, flip the toggle switch labeled ON/OFF to the ON position and count to 47 before logging on to the system. Logon using your username and password and wait for the prompt. Design engineer, material specialist forelectical utility's tools and equipment. There you go David. I did the same thing, purchased a 1964 El Camino, just like the one I had when I was 17. But this one is much nicer looking inside and out, and has more power for sure. 327 , 325 HP Kelly In a message dated 4/4/2005 9:34:18 PM Pacific Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: A retired policeman, David Hanks,,Marina Blue 1966 SS396,just like theone I had as a 17 year old High School Kid in 1965.

Ryan Langstraat wrote: Dennis, I was in San Fran last summer on vacation. I was there for 3 days and the traffic was unbelievable. I dont know how you do it all the time. It helps if you're crazy. It is hard work but not as hard as banging your knuckles on an engine when the temperature is around zero. I guess if I would have known my way around a little better it would have helped. Next time we go there I will let you know! We fly there and meet up with friends from Sacramento (they flew back to Iowa this last week) and then we drive to Tahoe. Only the best place on earth!! Ryan Let me know anytime you're in town and I'll be happy to ferry you around.
