Re: [Chevelle-list] tire opinions needed
From: John Fig [EMAIL PROTECTED] Due to a tire being slashed I am in the market for a set of new front tires for my car. Currently I have BFG T/A's on it 235/60x15 front and 255/60x15 in the back. I am a fairly agressive driver but I am on a budget and need these to last a minimum 3 miles... BFGoodrich Radial T/A Size:235/60SR15 Price $68 per tire I think the another pair of BFG's is the way to go because: 1) You get new tires on the front where they always seem to tell you that's the best place to put them. 2) You get to have a matching set of name brand tires all the way around, which is good for handling and aestetics. (and I hate no-name tires on good cars) 3) If you upgrade you still have s decent set of backups or something more sell-able because they're a matching set. my 2 cents. Pete Geurds Douglassville, PA
RE: [Chevelle-list] tire opinions needed
I used Tirerack.com to look at and compare tires for my Chevelle as well. Include Firestone Indy 500's in there on the comparison and check out how they compare with the others. I went with the Firestone 500's myself. I haven't had them on the road yet, but they sure look good. Warrantee and ratings are outstanding. I have 235/60 R15 on front and 295/50 R15 on back.
