Re: [Chevelle-list] tubular upper lower arms

2003-07-25 Thread Clint Hooper

I almost purchased a set of those arms for my 69,Kyle. The
reasons I bought the Global West tubulars I have now is the GW arms have
improved geometry figures over the Fatman arms, whichuse stock specs.
Another reason was the DelaLum bushing option on the GW arms. Those are pretty
close close to the ultimate bushing for suspension parts. The Fatman arms are
only available with rubber bushings. I built my car to handle corners better as
well as stop go.
If you aren't interested in a G-machine,the Fatman arms might
be the way to go. They also offer a coilover option like GW.

Kent,
They look like a really nice product. They state on there website
that
they may require clearancing for some 12 bolt applications. Did you
have
to do any clearancing?

I'm in the market for a pair and would like to hear some
feedback on the
  different manufactures out there.

I have
never dealt with them personally, but I have heard that they are really
good. I am in Harrisburg, near the
Lowes Speedway, just outside of Charlotte if you need any help.
