Re: [Chevelle-List] 4l60
Andre if you are talking about the 4L60 (aka 700 R4) and not the 4L60E then you will be able to install it very much like a turbo 350. The parts list is fairly short... 700R4 core from a 90 truck, dipstick, converter cover and kickdown cable from a 88 camaro, and a manual lock up valve for the converter and you will be set for the most part. If you are using a stock floor shifter then you will need to call up shiftworks.com and order their conversion kit. The crossmember will need to be moved back and a shorter drive shaft made. If you have further questions just ask. Re: [Chevelle-List] 4l60
Thanks JJ, I was thinking about getting a 1993 lt-1 with an automatic as a package, I'm not sure if its 4l60 or4l60E, I wanted to put the engine in the chevelle with the T-5 and the trans in my Van thats why I ask. if it is E should I stay away from it ??
