About my last post on the Pertronix. DISREGARD what I said about the 12 volts and the ballast resistor or wire!
I checked the last set of instructions from a Chevy installation and it said, NOTE : "A resistor wire or ballast resistor may or may not be included in the original equipment. They are NOT to be changed in any way with the installation of an igniter system. Sorry for the misinformation. Bad info. is worse than none at all. Sheesh, time for bed. Sorry again.
