Re:Re:[Chevelle-List] Keith A/C
Thanx keith. I guess that I misunderstood something said earlier about the expansion valve. I thought that I had a compressor leak, but now can't find one. I'll leave things as is for a while. rick - "Keith Cooper" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: From: "Keith Cooper" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re:[Chevelle-List] Keith A/C Date: Fri, 14 Jun 2002 11:24:13 -0400 Rick, I ask the AC board if you could convert an expansion valve system to an orifice tube type and this was his response: "Probably, but I wouldn't unless it's the VIR (Valves In Receiver) type. The expansion valve systems are excellent retrofit candidates" I believe he is saying that the expansion system is a good retrofit to R134. I saw the post about sending help to you and decided it was a very good idea. I belong to other lists that have done this type thing before for people in need. We had a friend that wrecked his car and his family had no money to take care of things afterwards, so we raised the cash to help them. I hate to see anyone not be able to drive their car, especially when it's an everyday driver like minethat's what it's all about Kelly C.
