Regarding the warnings, they are unfortunate, but expected. `current-milliseconds' has been deprecated in favor of `current-process-milliseconds', but the latter is not available in previous versions of the 5.x series, so egg developers can't really just use `current-process-milliseconds' instead of `current-milliseconds' in 5.x.
