[Chicken-users] repository cleanup
Hi! The toplevel eggs have now been moved into the "release/2" directory. The post-commit code has been updated and seems to be running. I've seen that there have been some commits during the time of the reorganization. These commits have not resulted in egg updating, as the automatic post commit procedures were disabled during that period and later testing was necessary which reset the revision counter (yadda yadda... serves you right! why did you commit during this period?). I will follow all updates for the next days to fix problems. If you encounter any problems, missing uploads or so, please contact me or the "chicken-hackers" mailing list. Thanks for your patience. cheers, felix ___ Chicken-users mailing list Chicken-users@nongnu.org http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/chicken-users

Hi, again! I just tested it and svn will on updating delete your uncommitted changes in directories that get moved. Great. Please, everybody: make copies of any uncommitted changes to pre-3.0.0 release branch eggs (i.e. the toplevel of the directory, not the release/3 branch), for example by using svn diff and applying the patch later manually. I hope to have everything working tomorrow. For the time being, try to avoid accessing pre-3 eggs via svn. cheers, felix ___ Chicken-users mailing list Chicken-users@nongnu.org http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/chicken-users
[Chicken-users] repository cleanup
Hello! I'm currently moving all the eggs for the pre-3.0.0 releases into a new branch ("release/2"). The move is currently taking place and will be committed in the next hours, hopefully. I hope nothing too devastating will happen, the post-commit tasks is updated but currently deactivated, so egg-commits will not be uploaded until everything works. If you have uncommitted working copies of non release/3 eggs, use "svn switch" like this: svn switch https://galinha.ucpel.tche.br/svn/chicken-eggs/release/2/ This is only needed if you have single checkouts, not complete ones. Those should be ok. I'm not an svn expert, so I don't know, wether uncommitted changes will be automatically taken over. If updating fails, "svn switch" should be possible. In any case, if you have trouble, ask here for help. cheers, felix ___ Chicken-users mailing list Chicken-users@nongnu.org http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/chicken-users
