Yes. I've done that.

Viewer is set 100%, but I don't see interlacing in the rendered avi
also.

If I have understood I have to use camera x-y for panning.

To do what I need, I have:
1. To make the animation at 50 fps.
2. To load the rendered file in another project and apply the fields to
frame plugin to have 25 fps interlaced.
I have done that and it works correctly.

Have I other ways to do it?

to use fields to frames your project frame rate must be double from your
material rate.

you probably don't seen interlacing, because you don't have viewer set
to 100%

you cannot use camera and fields to frames together! you can however use
fields to frames with projector.

OK, thanks everybody for your help! I've got already all setup and a
working cinelerra is ready for our next release!

(Some mails were send to me directly, since I'm not subscribed to the

Hi,

I'm currently preparing our new StartCom MultiMedia Edition ML-5.0.5
which is based on the new Fedora Core 5 (That's a switch from previously
RHEL as underlying OS)

Current Cinlerra version 2.0 can't be compiled on FC5, and may patches
have to be applied to various libraries (Faac, Faad, Libdv etc). I did
not got to the point yet to compile cinelerra itself, because I would
prefer that it would be linked to the system libraries and not the libs
provided in the cinlerra package. I wonder, if there are a few tips for
doing that, before I kneel into this and do it by ourself.

Download the community version as per http://cvs.cinelerra.org/svnusage.html
which is probably what you are looking for. It uses auto* tools build system
and uses the libraries provided by the system instead of its own copies.

[CinCVS] dv footage input

2006-04-27 Thread Kurt Georg Hooss

hi too,
i'll do like muzzol and share my settings to the list:

i have a canon mv730i camcorder with ieee1394 connector,
the digital video output can be grabbed into kino,
and if i use the following settings then the resulting files
can be directly read into cinelerra,

defaults (i'd rather term this "norm"):
pal, audio 48kHz stereo, aspect ration 4:3
capture: file type DV AVI Type 2, OpenDML AVI
auto split files, write every frame, 7000 frames/file, max 2000 MB
ieee1394: driver raw1394, interface 0, 50 frame buffers, poll int. 200ms
display: XVideo, enable preview, full interlaced frame, quality: best
audio: enable output on default device

system: amd64, suse10++
cinelerra: h.virtual 2.0, 2005-10 (too lazy to compile here)

/kgh>
