1. HDV capture Does Blackmagic Intensity Pro / Shuttle/Media Express fit in here? http://blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/ http://blackmagic-design.com/support/software/ The blackmagic card is not HDV it's for uncompressed full 2k capture. I have had no luck getting bm output into cinelerra. I belive the problem has to do with planar vs. non planar and colorspace. it's not YUV 4:2:2. Not sure. If anyone wants to try I'll post some footage. OK, looks like the repository i chose has 2.1.1 git version. There are two different versions of Cinelerra. The community version (CV) and the heroinewarrior version maintained by the original author. If you are using the later (4.1) that version has a known issue with the viewer not working. When I try that I can hear the audio, but no other window opens up. when I go to Window/Show Viewer the viewer remains blank. [CinCV] Absolute Dumb Question
I use ubuntu karmic and can get Cinelerra installed and running, but cannot figure out how to see the video play. Is the Viewer supposed to show the loaded .mov file when you press Play?
