Thank you for this public announcement. I'd say that this is the point where
we retire Cinelerra-CV's SVN.

We still have to evolve a workflow for patches and contributions. I'll gladly
pick up and review patches posted to this ML as my time permits and push them
into above repository.

ok, perfect...

Thx!

Ciao!
Vale

As has been mentioned on the list previously, there are already a
number of actively maintained git repositories:
http://git.cinelerra.org/gitweb/
The j6t repo has the latest work on Cinelerra CV 2.1
The c4 repo has the latest work on the merge of Cinelerra CV 2.1 and
the upstream Cinelerra 4 release.

Since this is where the development is taking place now, the
documentation on the site and the wiki has been updated to reflect
this. But please feel free to add further detail to the wiki or
correct it where it has been not yet been updated.

If you had been updating from subversion and now want to keep up with
the latest developments in the git repo, all you need is two commands:

To clone the full repo:
git clone git://git.cinelerra.org/j6t/cinelerra.git my_cinelerra

To update your copy:
git pull

[CinCV] Migration from subversion to git

2008-09-25 Thread Cillian de Roiste

To update your copy:
git pull
