Re: [CinCVS] Cinelerra people on IBC
Well, I went to the IBC today and it was awesome! At the end of the day I felt like I didn't have my feet anymore but it was all worth it! I've seen huge cameras, dollies, cranes, lots of HD stuff, chromakey stuff, very expensive video editing software with functions that Cinelerra and Blender also have (for free), and a lot more. The most impressive thing I have seen was the show in the Ultra High Definition theatre. Ultra High Definition has 16 times the resolution of 1080P (7,680 × 4,320 pixels) and it is simply breathtaking. It was a 14 minute show with footage from all kinds of things. They also showed some footage of Times Square and you could read every numberplate or roadsign that was visible. You have to see it for yourself, it just blows you away. Maybe there should be a Cinelerra stand next year :) Brosius, Kevin wrote: On 2006-08-30 13:11, Stefan de Konink wrote: > Hello, > > With an upcomming IBC in Amsterdam, will any Cinelerra people be there? > > > Stefan > What's IBC? Now it costs money... or you need to check if you can find some sponsor with free cards. If you get them two months in advance it totally free.
