Multipoint frame-relay interfaces are by default Non Broadcast in nature - as a result you will not be able to ping your own interface. Add a seperate map statement for your own interface and things will be fine !! Hi Arthur, all the best for the CID. Frankly i found the CCDA a whole lot tougher and a very-involving exam what with 5 case scenarios. So with CID (Jan 26th 2001) I was expecting things to be really tough - I was pleasantly suprised - NO CASE STUDIES(apart from a 4 line one in a question) and basically it was recall value - no application of any design concepts - felt like a CCNA paper all over again though worded differently. Is anyone aware of a good CCIE led; CCIE-Lab preparation training conducted in the Boston area - I know that Marc's cciebootcamp is awesome but I was hoping for a 'hands-on' session in a run up to the Lab ?
