I configured 4 VLAN on my catalyst 4000, 100 is Management's VLAN, 2,3,4 are user's VLAN. Every user VLAN will receive ip address and gateway address from DHCP server. But I have a problem with user use NT workstation, they receive ip address but couldn't receive gateway address. This is working fine on Windows 9x. I have tried to check on microsoft website, they have explained this thing happen on NT and how to solve it is put the NT on same subnet as DHCP server. I was wondering any other way to solve this problem instead of put NT on same subnet as DHCP server, anything to do with configuration on Catalyst 4000 ? Best Regards, Andre Iswanto.
