RE: Any body know about Cisco Content Switch

2001-01-11 Thread Anthony J Crews

It is also known as a 'web switch'. It will route traffic based on the
lower levels 1-4, as well as layer 5. It will route on url, cookie, etc...
Cisco is pushing this product, as we speak. If you are a reseller I suggest
you talk to your Channel Manager to try and get in on the training. This
switch will be huge because any dot com with more than two servers should
have one. Cisco obtained this product by buying Arrow Point.

Hi Wayne,

Could you point me to some information on the CSSes
and how to configure for load balancing? I was looking
at Local Director and Alteon boxes to do that for two
PIXs. Do I need them on both he outside and inside?
Thanks.

RE: CCIE Written test questions

Sportsfan,
I guess you would be the Cisco Police. I really would like to know what you
got out of the post below? Do you think Cisco is going to hunt you down and
give you a brownie for being righteous?

Elijah,

I cannot believe what you just posted here. Did you even read the Security
Agreement on that test? You must have a friend at the test center that let
you leave with a nice copy of the questions.

I'm sure you are trying to cover your tracks using hotmail, and probably a
fake name, but I hope Cisco hunts you down and suspends all your
certifications. They should do the same to the test center.

Took CCIE today. It was much easier than I expected. Not to say that there
is not a lot of material on the test. Here is 50 or so questions that I
recommend you know the answers to ;) I would love to hear about any specific
questions that anyone else has come across in thier written experience.
Would also to be curios to know the answers to questions 7, 17, 22, 23, 26,
36 and 39.

I would like to bridge and route on the same router and, pass packets
between interfaces. Will bridging work without the global config command
"no ip routing"?

Network analysis of T1 [7:1057]

I would like to know the best/least expensive software on the market that
will analyze my T1 links for %usage. I have all cisco routers but think the
CiscoWorks RWAN is a bit expensive ($15,000)?

Thanks,

Anthony
