RE: supernetting question
Yes, as far as I can tell this is the only netmask that will allow you to include all of the networks you have requested in one supernetwork. Of course this is a bit of over kill as you will be including all addresses in the range of: 179.29.0.0 to 179.29.31.255. If it wasn't for 172.29.16.64 255.255.255.192 you could have got away with 179.29.0.0 /20 which would include the range: 179.29.0.0 to 179.29.15.255. -Original Message- From: ROUTHIER, YVES [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, October 26, 2000 3:00 PM To: A.Strobel Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: supernetting question first , to be able to do supersubneting you need to have consecutive network "A.Strobel" wrote: > > What is the correct supernet for the followings: > > 172.29.10.0 255.255.255.128 > 172.29.16.64 255.255.255.192 > 172.29.0.0 255.255.255.224 > > is my calculation of 172.29.0.0/19 correct? > > Thanks, > > A. RE: Passed BCRAN
Scott, I am studying for the BCRAN right now and there is one issue that contiues to puzzle me. Do we have to be familiar with the 700 series routers or not. I figure anyone who has done the BCRAN recently would be in the best position to answer this question so hopefully you or someone from the study group will add their two cents. For what it's worth there are a lot of really bright and talented people on this study group. It is a great resource for any up and coming CCNP or CCIE. RE: ACL Deny Statement & Wildcard
The range 100.16.0.0 and 100.17.255.255 are defined by the 255.254.0.0. Therfeor the wildcard (inverse) mask in you access list should be 0.1.255.255. -Original Message- From: Montgomery, Robert WARCOM Contractor [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, November 15, 2000 1:25 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: ACL Deny Statement & Wildcard I need to deny 2 consecutive network ranges.
