Subject: FXO to FXS automatic call forwarding [7:17769]

Hi there

Hope you can give me an idea to solve this:
I have a 1750 router with 1 FXO VIC and 1 FXS VIC.
FXO VIC is connected to the PSTN and the FXS VIC to analog phones.
I need an incoming call received from the PSTN to be automatically
forwarded to one of the FXS ports.
Right now we get a second dial-tone and have to dial the FXS extension
number. We want to avoid this.

Any ideas?

Enrique Waizel

RE: multiple DHCP scopes in a vlan with primary an [7:27264]

2001-11-26 Thread Federico Diaz Herrera

Hi, you only need a 1-DHCP and if you want use one scope per vlan you need a
ip helper,

this an example

interface Vlan20
 ip address 192.168.229.2 255.255.255.0
  ip helper-address 192.168.249.2
 !
interface Vlan30
 ip address 192.168.230.2 255.255.255.0
 ip helper-address 192.168.249.2
!
interface Vlan40
 ip address 192.168.231.2 255.255.255.0
 ip helper-address 192.168.249.2

the DHCP server IP is 192.168.249.2, and there one scope per vlan in the
server

For those of you that have implemented VLANs with DHCP, do you use one
DHCP server per VLAN, or is there a way to bind a specific DHCP scope to
each VLAN?

Thanks,
Hal

Subject: CID exam [7:28668]

Hello all

I am just about to take the CID exam but i dont know
whixh exam to take. Cisco in the web side gives the
CID 3 as the 640-025 exam, but on the tracking system
640-025 is not valid and is replaced by the 640-520.

I went to my local exam center and they could not
locate the 640-520 exam and they said that the only
valid wxam is the 640-025 which is not valid according
to the tracking system.

Based on the above I dont know what to do. In
case i take the 640-025, will be valid or i will need
to take the 640-520?

Any feedback on the above will be appreciated.
