RE: TACACS+ and RADIUS

2000-10-03 Thread George . Adewale

Tacascs+ and Radius are different Database protocols service that is used
by router using AAA for the security service

TACACS+ is an existing protocol developed by Cisco Systems in their Routers.
Cisco presently supports two kind of Authentic Protocols the other one is
RADIUS which is also the industry standard, their are also many other
Authentication Protocol

I think if you want more information go to the Cisco website search for the
comparisons of Tacacs

I
think they are better on the Linux server than the  NT server. It is still
a project I am trying to work on, but other things have come in the
way.

I to am interested to hear peoples thoughts on the cisco press books for
CCNP as the
archives only really had the Thomas II books covered.

Did any one find any improvement in those Thomas II books such as BSCN
as the others
copped a bagging???

Thanks

RE: visio shape update

2000-10-30 Thread George . Adewale
Title: visio shape update

You've
got to be careful with the shapes you import in visio if a shape of a later
version you might not be able to change the nature of of it and also you might
start seeing some other different problems
