There is no way to connect an ethernet interface to a serial interface, they are entirely different technologies. Your only option would be to add another router to do the media conversion. This type of converter is used when you have a serial WAN link that you want to bridge ethernet traffic over, making it transparent to your router. Each end of the WAN link would have one of these and you would connect it to the ethernet port on your router. We have just recently used such a device successfully to bridge traffic from Denver to Atlanta over another companies BAP (Big A** Pipe) .
