Hi all I have a problem on the network where some machines a establishing a lot of netbios connections on the network and almost consuming all the bandwidth. How do I configure the ingress interface to set the limit on the number of connections that each machine can have? Your urgent response will be highly appreciated. Encapsulation PPP not working on some Cisco routers [7:69855]
Hi All Has anyone ever encountered a problem of configuring 2 x Cisco routers back-to-back with encapsulation PPP and it does not work? I'm experiencing this with 2 of my routers. Upgrading from Token Ring to Fast Ethernet [7:63374]
Hi All, I'm in the process of upgrading from Token Ring to Fast Ethernet at one of our client's sites. This upgrade won't be fork-lifted overnight and my concern is that that the client is not keen on doing the IP readdressing. I'll be deploying a Cisco 2513 router during the migration period and my question is as follows:- How do I leave the IP subnets configured on the Token Ring interface and have users connect to the Ethernet interface, and still be on the same IP subnet, if possible. I just established that on one of my links in the network, our company has been paying for a 512kb line, and instead the line we're getting is a 128kb. Hi all I have tacacs loaded on all our routers in our network and would like to configure the console ports to use it also, not only the vty lines. I noticed that on IOS ver 10.x, you could actually configure 'login tacacs' on the console port, but can't do it on the new version of the IOS. Connect Cisco 2501 to Lucent Router [7:3559]
Hi Guys/dolls I've got a problem whereby Im connecting a cisco router with a lucent router via a 128kb line. I've configured the serial interface on the cisco router with Encap PPP and also on the Lucent router.When I show the interface, I get the Line up protocol up statement, which tells me that the link is working fine but for some reason I can't ping the other side. Any suggestion?? I have a Catalyst 5505 switch with a WS-X5201 module and also have a WS-C2948G switch that I want to connect to the Catalyst 5505.
