DFW Study Group [7:45850]
The DFW Cisco Users group doesn't seem to want to list this study group so I thought I'd post it here. We have a group that is just finishing up the BSCN/BSCI and will shortly be moving on to the BCMSN an will continue through BCRAN and CIT. We need more people to get the most out of it since we've had a few people decide not to continue the CCNP/CCIP path. We have a nice lab available to us and a really great location where we even have access to the lab on days/nights when there is no meeting. I will also be starting up a Cisco Security Specialist 1 study group shortly at the same location with access to the same lab which does include a PIX, that is if I can get enough people interested. The group meets at Computerminds, a local training center http://www.computerminds.com, but this is not a class, its just a study group. This has been a great group so far and I'd love to have more people join in for the switching module. Anyone interested in either the CCNP or CSS1 group drop me an email and I'll give the details. Disclaimer!!! I DO NOT work for Computerminds or any other training center. I'm just some guy studying for the certifications. RE: certification salary posting-a new direction [7:30237]
I have to say I think this is a grand idea, if people will give an accurate account of their salary and their certifications. Lets have a survey without the vendor or recruiting firm bias. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Puckette, Larry (TIFPC) Sent: Friday, December 28, 2001 11:05 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: certification salary posting-a new direction [7:30237] A new direction for the topic It seems that the consensus is that the surveys are inflated. I cannot think of a better forum that would give an accurate result than this one. And with the topic having strung on this long, I must not be the only one on the list that has this on their mind right now. Has the list ever did it's own survey to get a more realistic view?
