RE: VPN Issue [7:54702]
You can use the VPN Concentrator and create groups and set up routes to specific networks or specific machines according to which group the person logs in under. OT: 2501 for sale [7:51640]
Group, I wanted to post it here first. I have a Cisco 2501 with 16 Dram 16 Flash that I need to sell from my study lab. If anyone is interested, please email me. RE: Ciscoworks 2000 [7:48211]
If you have Device Fault Manager installed, it has a tab that you can set up an email address or messaging phone number that will send you an alert if a device goes down. The problem with it is that you can't change the message that you get from CiscoWorks, which is a really vague alert saying that there has been an Operational Exception. Hope this helps, Bill Mckenzie Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7i=48311t=48211 -- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
RE: Where should i go today :) [7:48173]
Morgan, Just my 2 cents, but if you are already dealing with Networking in your current position, the best thing you have on your side is time. You are getting experience with every day at your job, and I believe that is the most important thing. As far as what you should go for next...that depends on what your goal is. If you are looking down the road towards the CCIE, I don't know if it's imperative to take the CCDA/DP route. Again, this is only my opinion. The support seems to encompass a lot of all of the others so I took that last. It worked for me, but who knows? It took me about 2 weeks after I passed my CCIE Written to be able to log in and schedule my lab. Just keep checking every day. Buy Vs. Virtual Rack Time for CCIE [7:40100]
I'm looking for comments about preparing for the CCIE Lab Exam. Do you NEED to buy the equipment to build a home lab, or is it possible to be enough prepared by practicing totally through renting rack time? (and in this dream world, money isn't an issue) I would really like to hear feedback about this. CCIE Written Practice Exams [7:38268]
Does anyone know of any good CCIE Written Practice Exams? I subscribed to CertificationZone for their CCIE Written practice exam, and also have Kaslow's Switches, Bridges and Routers for CCIE's with about 400 questions.
