Remember that BCRAN also covers the 700 series router which does not use the
Cisco CLI.  It uses 'Set' commands

Example:

CD LAN
SET IP ADDRESS 10.1.1.1

try 'no sync' in your BGP config.

A show IP bgp would help too.
Might try 'next-hop-self' on neighbor statement to R4.
