Hey, Leonard. The IP addresses you gave are for a default class b network.
Since the cidr block represented a 12 bit mask, this is not a default class
b network.

The News Hour on PBS tonight had a report on CISCO SYSTEMS, that was good
as
always. They interviewed the editor of the San Jose Mercury newspaper.
Something made me do a search for the papers' website.
Well on this website: sjmercury.com /technology/Cisco/ they have a Cisco
Watch page! A whole page dedicated to one company.
As San Jose' largest employer, and in ground zero of Silicon Valley, why
not? The site contains alot of Cisco junkie info, including plans for a
new
optical and wireless manufacturing campus north of Dallas.
I'm thinking more and more of the need for a CCIE exam lab in Texas
up around Richardson. There is a practise lab in U.T. Austin, and it would
be half way between the coasts. Any other opinions on a lab here?
 As always, thanks
 Dale

CCIE Writen Failed again

2000-06-20 Thread Rich Russell

OK, this is the 2nd time that I've flunked this test. The thing that really
gets me is that I actually checked my answers 3 times and felt highly
confident about it.

1st question What does that survey at the beginning have to do with
determining your score? I mean if you answer low or something does that
help you?

2nd Question Who else hates the ** test?

Thanks for your input.

Re: erase flash

you have to delete then use the squeeze command to totally remove the files
and regain the space in flash

In my opinion , erase some files depends of which router you are handling.
Is a 7500 , you can use the command squezze to set which files you want to
erase , then delete this marked files.
But for 3600 , I don't know how to do it. A workaround is partitioning
flash
, and put one image into each partition

Re: erase flash

yes, delete filename:slot# then if you want to recover the actual flash
image space you'll need to do the squeeze:slot#

Just deleting the file will not recover the flash image space. FYI, the
flash has 15 (I think)levels of undelete if you need it back
