What's the critical difference between level 3 switching and [7:28305]

hi all,

It seems that both is looking for level 3 header information (like
destination IP address) to make decision of packet forwarding.

Just can't get into the concepts between them.

Any hint is appreciated.

finally, did you take the lab exam in Hong Kong?  I have thought that I
need to travel to BeiJiang or Singpoare to take the lab test..

(for me, it still a long way to go.  I think i can make my first lab
attmept in 18 or 24 months, as now on the way of NP & DP exams, and
seeking study parther...)

I also share your feeling.  Took this test today,  and frankly speaking, 
I didn't feel that I'm deserved to have a pass (missed many questions in 
async/PPP, ISDN protocols), however, because of this easy way to guess a 
command, I barely passed with 819.


for me, 2 more to go (switching, CIT) to the CCNP.
