about x25 switching [7:25737]
hi all: i am just trying to understand x25. now i have a c3661 with serveral nm-4T modules, so i get a x25 switching, hehe. there is something wondering me, i use x25 route to create serveral swith path: x25 route 123456 int ser1/0 x25 route 234567 int ser1/2 x25 route 987654 int ser1/3 the int serial1/0, 1/2, 1/3 connect to other three router with serail interface R1, R2, R3. on the R1: int se0 encapsulation x25 dte x25 add 123456 ip add 192.168.11.1 255.255.255.0 x25 map 192.168.11.2 234567 broadcast x25 map 192.168.11.3 987654 broadcast on the R2: int se0 encapsulation x25 dte x25 add 234567 ip add 192.168.11.2 255.255.255.0 x25 map 192.168.11.3 987654 broadcast U see, the R2 has no x25 map command to map the R1's ip add to x25 add. But something interesting is that, u can ping the R1 from R2! what's the matter it is? thx for ur attention Message Posted at: http://www.groupstudy.com/form/read.php?f=7i=25737t=25737 -- FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/cisco.html Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
