2 routers, 1 async line [7:12178]

What is the simplest way to connect two routers over
an asnyc line for a permanent connection?  I have a
1720 with a serial interface and a 3640 with a
wic-2a/s.

Assuming you mean a POTS line, you can use a couple of external 56k modems.
I've got it working on a couple of 2501's through the aux port.  E-mail if
you need help with the configs.
