BCRAN [7:5498]
Hi guys, I am just new to the group. Can anyone please tell me what to expect in the BCRAN exam? I am taking it next week and any tips and tricks will be muchly appreciated. I passed the Remote Access exam last Thursday, expect some Framely relay, X25, and ISDN of course. I had a lot of questions where I had to choose a command from a list of commands, including some non existant ones, such as how do I map an IP address to an ISDN number. I agree with Patrick, I took the exam last friday and mostly I had to choose from a list of command which is fairly easy if u know your commands. Study PPP. That is what I had the most of. So Frame and a Few ISDN.. Also have have to type in the commands once you choose them so be careful when tying them. I know some of the commands right off but I had to remeber that I could not abbreviate. The ISDN CIM is published by ciscopress, costs about $150 and is available at most online bookstores. Its one of the better of the CIMs, especially if you dont have ISDN capabilites in your lab.
