BGP4 Question
in a E-BGP session, whenever there is an update, which router is checking whether the AS-Path of the new route contains the AS# of the receiver? 1) the sender is not sending any route information if the route contains the AS number of the receiver? or 2) the receiver will check and discard the route if the assi=ociated AS-Path contains the local AS#? This question is from a colleague of mine and he will appreciate any answer. Thanks. -- Sent through Global Message Exchange - http://www.gmx.net ___ UPDATED Posting Guidelines: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/guide.html FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
