CCNA Pass Mark? [7:46271]

2002-06-11 Thread Simon King

Easy one! Does anyone know what the pass mark is for the new CCNA 640-607?
I'm sure that I'll pass, but would feel better to know what I'm aiming for!

Thanks

You should aim for 1000. Why not do the best you can and not worry about
the scoring?

Cisco no longer publishes this information because it changes so frequently.
You won't know until you actually sit for the exam.

RE: CCNA Pass Mark

2001-03-22 Thread Snow Jr., Jim

75 boss. Just took/passed it in January and, contrary to some of the
others emails, I took almost every minute to get through it. Nothing like
the transcender and cisco press exam preps, with different scenarios and,
often, more choices than the usual A, B, C and D!

Good luck

Re: CCNA Pass Mark

2001-03-22 Thread Roger Sohn

It doesn't matter what the passing mark is. Just study for the exam and if
you know the stuff, you will pass it. If you don't, then you will fail it.
Simple as that.

The test is about 65 questions and there may be more and there may be less.
Just figure that you have approximately that many questions and take the
test. It's not that important. If you know your stuff, you will have WAY
more than enough time to answer all the questions so concentrate on the
actual material on the test. Not how many questions.

If you really need to know exactly how many questions there are, then go
waste $100 and flip through all the questions. Sorry to be so harsh, but
this isn't rocket science here.

The new passing mark for CCNA 2.0 has been revised to 860 or something as
per the reports I have , and there are about 65 or 66 questions , the
passing percentage was lower till about a month ago.

It's about anywhere from 65-70ish questions and you have about one hour
and
a half to answer everything. It's more than enough time. I breezed
through
the entire exam in 25-30 minutes. You'll either know it, or you won't.
Passing mark for the 2.0 exam is 822. It used to be 760 or something like
 that for the CCNA 1.0.

Could someone tell me the ACTUAL number of questions, time frame given =

Re: CCNA Pass Mark

2001-03-19 Thread Roger Sohn

It's about anywhere from 65-70ish questions and you have about one hour and
a half to answer everything. It's more than enough time. I breezed through
the entire exam in 25-30 minutes. You'll either know it, or you won't.
Passing mark for the 2.0 exam is 822. It used to be 760 or something like
that for the CCNA 1.0.
