I took the routing exam for the CCIP (I already have the CCNP) recently. I
would recommend you know how to set up OSPF, RIP, IS-IS, BGP before taking
ANY new Cisco exam. It's not like before.
FYI --- you do not have to know how to configure the new Microsoft protocol,
