I am writing this wondering how many of you have installed the Cisco 7400's in your networks. We recently installed 2 in our network and we had nothing but hardware problems with them. One of the boxes had a bad etherent port and the other had a bad hssi card. Needless to say it was a nightmare. So now that we have the boxes installed they are re-booting from software forced crashes. We opened a case with Cisco and they acknowledged that the 7400's have hardware issues and they are sending us 2 of the newer models that resolve the initial models problems. Have any of you out there experienced the same problems as we have? And if so did the newer replacement boxes resolve the issues? Thanks for any input.
