Colt test

2000-11-09 Thread Pieter Jordaan

Hi group

I am currently studying towards CCNA, How good are the colt tests for
determining my current level? If I passed the colt test do I have a shot at
the real thing?

all input valuable.

If you pass the Colt test you should pass the real thing no problem,
the boson tests are not as difficult but cover more of the area that
the exams are actually based on.

If you pass the Colt test with a high score you may fail the real thing! The
Colt tests are composed of all of the questions that didn't make it out of
beta, and have not been re-worded correctly, or have had their answers
corrected. They are terrible, and you will find that many of the
contributors to this NG who have tried them, including CCNP's and CCIE's,
will tell you to avoid them.

In this case, you get what you pay for.

Colt test for BCMSN

2000-11-09 Thread Desai, Inamul

Has any one tried Colt BCMSNe exam on cisco site?
Is it harder than real test? How is it compare to
Boson or real exam ?
Is boson exams any good for BCMSN ?

Thanks everyone in advance.

I recently passed BCMSN and found the Colt test strange at best, for the
most part. I scored in the mid 900's on the actual test, but was only
marginally passing the Colt exam. However (and I know this is
contradictory), I did see some questions on the actual test that were very
familiar, if not the same.

Everyone with common questions that we all know comes up on the list should
consider using the Archive search rather before posting (I use it a lot to
find common things asked/answered here). The first hit with "COLT" contains
the URL.
