hello james, thanks for the tip on the BCMSN. by the way how many questions
were on it, how much time did they give you, and what did it concentrate
mostly on? your knowledge will be much appreciated.
thanks ahead of time.

Don't study the CLSC. I did buy that book in order to take the old
version,
and subsequently took a BCMSN KnowledgeNet course, the format and material
is TOTALLY revamped. I took the BCMSN and got 850 on it. The BCMSN is
very
straight forward, but you have to understand VLANs and multilayer switching
hands down. The BOSON.COM tests were moderately helpful in identifying the
topics I was weak on, but were much more detailed than the cert test. It
is
a concept test.

Ok, now I have a question of those who have taken the new BCSN test, in
relation to the BCRAN one. In BCRAN, when you need to type in commands,
you
are given a list of 75 or so to choose from. Is the BCSN the same format,
or like the old ACRC exam where you type it from your head??

Thanks for the general info!!!

HELLO : THIS IS MY FIRST TIME TRYING OUT THIS SITE.
HERE'S MY PLEA OF HELP. I AM PREPARING MYSELF TO TAKE THE "BCMSN"
AND I NEED TO KNOW THE FOLLOWING:
 1) WHAT ARE EXACTLY "THE EXAM OBJECTIVES" FOR THIS THING?
A. IF I YOU CAN HELP ME WITH AN OUTLINE, OR
B. IF I CAN BE REFERRED TO A SITE WHERE THEY COVER "SPECIFIC OUTLINE"
SO FAR I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS EXAM IS NOT HARDWARE INTESIVE, NOR INCLUDES
ATM OR FDDI. I REALLY WOULD APPRECIATE IF SOMEONE COULD GUIDE ME IN A
SPECIFIC PATH; A LITTLE LESS REDUNDANT. I AM STUDYING THE OVERVIEW LAID
 OUT
 FOR THE "CLSC".
ALSO; IF IT'S NOT TOO MUCH OF A PAIN..; IF I CAN GET TIPS ON WHAT
PORTION OF THE OUTLINE TO CONCENTRATE ON.

THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH AHEAD OF TIME; YOURS TRULY.
