We are currently using a 3640 with PRI and MICA modems (all dial in users are authenticated via a TACACS server). For each user who dials in using an ISDN modem we configure a dialer interface with the users name in the "dialer remote-name" command. Is there anyway of avoiding this configuration task as more and more users are wanting to use ISDN modems as opposed to analogue modems?
