Network Diagram Skills
Are there any good resources for drawing network diagrams quickly in a systematic fashion? Aaron Dixon mentioned he tried to perfect these skills before taking the lab. RE: Network Diagram
I might be missing something very important here but how can you run gigabit Ethernet over a Wan. Is it because they are runningOC 43? Would that be what they're running or am I overlooking something else? I've always just used visio and a big plotter to make my diagrams, but this is something. Does anybody know what tools I can get to replicate this kind of drawing? I would love to indulge my artistic side. - Dennis -Original Message-From: Dave Hennen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]Sent: Wednesday, August 09, 2000 6:35 AMTo: nsamuel; Cisco Group StudySubject: RE: Network Diagram I get Network computing magazine and they have a "centerfold" in each issue that is a fold out diagram of someone's network that they are talking. Whoever does those diagrams is pretty good, usually they are pretty complicated but still aesthetically pleasing. Take a look at www.networkcomputing.com. There might be some up there or subscribe to the magazine. The latter can handle 10 Gig Ethernet (actually they have the same physical layer, which is really 9+ Gbps). ___ UPDATED Posting Guidelines: http://www.groupstudy.com/list/guide.html FAQ, list archives, and subscription info: http://www.groupstudy.com Report misconduct and Nondisclosure violations to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
