Hi, All traffic destined for the WAN goes over the ethernet interface. Its a private network wholly owned by a Bank. The radios used are supposed to have a throughput of 500kbps which is very very suspect. We want to check our throughput. These same radios are being used for broadband Internet Access for which we would also like to determine the throuhghput. Regards, Dzilo David Chandler wrote: Need more Details. 1. Is all of your traffic destined for the WAN being passed to a service providers Router across an ethernet connection? 2. Does the WAN provider have 64K links to the clients? 3. Is #2 why you are looking for a way to monitor throughput? DaveC Charles Nunie wrote: Hi Guys, Our WAN interface are all ethernet. Install a network probe have your network manager (CW2000 Traffic Manager, TAVVE, or Concorde NetHealth) monitor the userage, or have the user perform downloads from bandwidth sites. http://www.dslreports.com/stest Phil - Original Message - From: Charles Nunie To: Sent: Friday, May 18, 2001 11:20 AM Subject: OT quick, easy cheap [7:4989] Hi Guys, Our WAN interface are all ethernet.
