It is. It's a token ring LAM, Lobe Attachment Module. Too bad when Madge
acquired all that Olicom T/R equipment they didn't preserve the
documentation.
Anyway, on to troubleshooting. First make sure the ring speeds are the same
on all devices. Then, issue a "clear int to0" on your router. Check the
status of the interfaces on the router by doing a 'show interface
tokenring0' (or whatever tokenring int you're using). Paste that into a
reply email if you're still having problems.
You could have a bad LAM on your hands, too. Or bad cabling. If you're
trying to use a 9-pin to RJ45 converter, make sure it's a MEDIA CONVERTER
and not a serial converter - the normal 9 pin-to-RJ45 connectors that we use
for consoles won't work on a T/R DB-9 interface.
