Password privilege [7:45818]
Hi all : I have set a username "test" with privilege 2 for "show running-config". However when I login using "test" and perform show running-config ; only 1st line and last line of the configuration can be seen. Any idea ? username cisco password 7 104D000A0618 username test privilege 2 password 7 021201481F ip subnet-zero no ip domain-lookup privilege exec level 2 show running-config privilege exec level 2 show And the result is as below : Building configuration... Jimmy, When you use the password with the privilege commands you see parts of the running-config that privilege level 2 commands are able to configure. Which probably is nothing. But you can assign the Privilege level 2 to see the startup-config.
