The CCIE Written makes you type in the command or choose it from a multiple choice answer depending on the question. My CCIE test had no drop down lists - I had to remember the commands. It seemed there were about 5 (?) questions where I had to type in the entire command. Hmmm Interesting, I took the CCIE written in late April and didn't have any drop down lists or type-ins. It was all multiple choice and a few drag-an-drop questions. -- Sean C.
