RE: DSU/CSU Connections
We're assuming that the CSU/DSUs are T-1. If they are 56k then the wires to swap are 1&2 with 7&8. > -Original Message- > From: Lubbers, Robert D [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2000 10:13 AM > To: Mike Murphy; [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: RE: DSU/CSU Connections > > > Uyeh - > > I have two Motorola FT-100Ses and I hooked them up back to > back. RE: DSU/CSU Connections
Uyeh - I have two Motorola FT-100Ses and I hooked them up back to back. Set one to internal clock, and the other to line clock. Make sure that all the settings (channels and speeds) are identical. The cable I used was an RJ-48 1-2-4-5 reversed. 1 4 2 5 4 1 5 2 > -Original Message- > From: Mike Murphy [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2000 10:48 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: DSU/CSU Connections > > Is it possible to connect two DSU/CSUs together. RE: DSU/CSU Connections
Yes you can. You just need to create a cross over cable. If you search the archives, I believe last month, someone actually gave the pinouts. -Original Message- From: Mike Murphy [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2000 7:48 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: DSU/CSU Connections Is it possible to connect two DSU/CSUs together. Mike, Yes, you need a rollover cable. Go to http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/471/75.html#command to get the pin outs to build your own cable. Eddie -- Edward J.
