The last time I looked on eBay, 5500's weren't selling very well. Personally, I'm keeping mine because I want a set-based switch in my lab as well as an IOS-based switch. Just because Cisco is using a 3500 series switch in their CCIE lab doesn't mean that the whole world is going to stop using set-based switches. There are tons of them out in the real-world networks and you still need to know how to configure and troubleshoot them. If you've already bought and paid for it, you may as well hang on to it because you probably won't get a good price for it and you still need to keep up your set-based chops! I concur with that. Also, it looks like there will two switches will be in the lab.
