I would much rather just read the spam, if I post a valid email address then
the spammers will just archive it and spam me there instead! besides I use a
seperate program for news and email and it's kind of a pain to switch back
and fourth to authenticate the posts...

If you do not want to give your real e-mail address simply post from the
website. The website gives you an option of using a public e-mail address
that can be anything you desire. Website postings are not authenticated.
Also, if you reply to a message you are not required to authenticate. Only
new messages from the mailing list or newsfeed require authentication.
Finally you only need to authenticate once. All future posting will go to
the list without additional assistance.

I have not received reports of spammers obtaining e-mail addresses from this
list. I do have some questions about pseudo-spammer (i.e. How am I
receiving those Certification Zone messages when I never joined the site).

Please send me any report to the contrary. There are a few things I can do
to limit the obtaining of addresses.

Paul
