Hi, Its nothing..its just that by default ospf advertises the loopback address as a host route i.e with a mask of /32. This default behaviour can be changed by giving the command ip ospf network point-to-multipoint under the interface config mode. Colin, Can't remember if you got a reply. The classic case they are talking about is the Loopback address. Unless you have "ip ospf network point-to-multipoint" Loopback address are advertised as /32 routes.
