I found it challenging, but certainly not as difficult as the MPLS exam which has a much higher pass mark and I have failed twice to date. For the QoS+Multicast exam, I didn't read the Multicast Cisco Press book, only the IP QoS book, plus some whitepapers/documentation - and I struggled - so I would recommend both books.
