well, although its been a few years since I touched frame relay, my memory was that if I let the cisco autodiscover frame relay mappings, traffic flowed through it more slowly than if I did a static frame relay map. Its been a few years, this was 11.2 days, so take it with a grain of salt if auto discovery has improved. True, even if you discover them, a static map, in my experience, passes traffic faster.
