John,

depending on the code version and the router type this can be caused by a
relaod due to a bus error, or some interface problem with a protocol. My
suggestion is that you do a show stacks and go to the stack decoder at the
CISCO site.

Provide some more data after reloading the data by giving following
commands :

- show run
- show stacks
- show ver
- show context

 if is going on rommode then provide by typing following before you reboot :

romk 25
romcontext
romsysret
