Hey You need to run Enterprise Basic IOS image for IS-IS. ISIS is part of the Enterprise code. Upgrading to that will allow you to configure ISIS. Looked this up on Software Advisor...it listed feature sets primarily with an Enterprise flavor, as well as a few VoIP, Telco, and Service Provider flavors. What I got out of the whole thing was that the IP only feature set will not cut it. IS-IS speakers natively use CLNS to communicate even as they route IP. I used to get it with the Desktop feature, though I did not see that as an option here.
