Well, You need 2 x 3640 because you can buy the NM-1FE1R2W(This will take
care the FastEthernet ISL) then put the WIC-1T and WIC-B-U on this Network
module. Also, put the NM-1A-MM (will work with the LS1010) and the NM-2V
with 2FXS on this 2 3640. The token ring part you need a catalyst
3920.(It's on the CCIE Lab Exam). Buy a NP-1R, NP-2E and a few NP-4T for
your 4000 router. On the ISDN; look up Adtran Atlas 550. They have a combo
550 box($3100 on cnet.com) which come with 2PRI and 4BRI. With this Adtran
box, you can have all your isdn calling each other.

Subject: Voice and ATM for lab plus more.

First let me say any help would be appreciated.

I am attempting to set up a lab at my work. We have about 6 2501's, 1 2502
and 3 4000's, one of them useful having the 4 port serial module. So far I
have the 4000 as a frame switch and 4 connecting 2501's.. I also am going
to bring in the rest of the 2501's eventually.. I was told to go ahead and
buy what I need in what I feel is useful. (I am curious as to how far they
let me go with this). I know I need at least 1 more token ring, 2 bri
interfaces.. Voice, ATM.
I'm thinking:
2511
2620 with 2-port fxs int card
2610 with 2-port fxs int card - I'm wondering if these also need the Voice
interface cards...
2504 - tokenring and BRI
2503 - BRI
Catalyst 5000 or 2901

I was hoping to do ATM.. Maybe instead of the 2600's, use 3620 or 40 and
add Single-port 155-mbps ATM OC-3 MNM to each with a Lightspeed 1010.
(dreaming? I'm guessing the above modules will not be the optimal match.)
2 tokenring mau's..
We actually have 2 ISDN lines I hope to incorporate as well for the ISDN.

Any criticism/help would be appreciated. If this is the dumbest thing you
have ever seen, let me know... That is why I'm asking for help!!

Mike
